Summer Outings

We are remarkably lucky in having such a great range of activities nearby, both in London and in the surrounding countryside. There are lots to choose from so we hope you find some good places to visit.

There is a wealth of information in guidebooks, free parenting magazines (either delivered to you or given out via playgroups, libraries and nurseries) and in specially targeted children’s activities publications. Look in your local newsagent for London and Surrey-wide seasonal magazines and annual publications.

Borough libraries have all the details you need on summer activities in parks, libraries and public spaces in the Richmond, Hounslow and Surrey boroughs, whilst sports centres and swimming pools carry sports and course details. Just look around and you will find so many things you can become involved in.

Please be aware that some of the following details may not be entirely up to date so do check before visiting. Have a lovely summer!!
